Course Profile This course is for those who have attended 162-25892 Restoring Native Wildlife or who have previous wildlife recovery experience. Ideal for more experienced volunteers or for those coordinating bushland projects such as council staff, contractors, ecological consultants, NPWS and LLS staff.
Planning and developing wildlife recovery projects
Management and restoration of wildlife corridors
Design & construction of wildlife crossings
Structural habitat management
Roost and nesting habitat creation and maintenance
Wildlife translocation and reintroduction
Inspect wildlife recovery projects both successful and failed. Finish the day with the ability to make wildlife recovery projects succeed.
Presenter is Peter Ridgeway. Peter is a volunteer with Cumberland Land Conservancy and has experience developing wildlife recovery and bushland management programs across western Sydney.
Details:
Sunday 22 October 2017 9.30am – 4pm. Transport is provided. Participants will be required to wear PPE suitable for bushwalking.
